Paul grew up in Livermore Valley ("just hanging out in my grandfather's winery") where he learned about the Scotto family's four generations of winemaking history dating back to 1883 in Ischia, Italy. Paul's love of blending is a key to his winemaking accomplishments and the foundation for all he does at Scotto Cellars. Paul thinks of himself as a "Blendologist" and has often been heard to say, "Blending is fun and the results are the reward."
